The short version
1klas uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. We do not profile you, we do not run third-party trackers, and we do not sell or share browsing data. The only things we keep on your device are two small preferences, and both are essential to how the site works for you.
What we store on your device
These are set without asking, because the site cannot sensibly work without them and they are used for nothing else. They are kept in your browser’s local storage — not sent to any advertising network.
- Theme preference — remembers whether you chose the light or dark version of the site. Stays until you clear it. Key:
1klas-theme. - Your cookie choice — remembers whether you accepted or declined the non-essential item below, so we don’t ask again on every page. Key:

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, does not set any cookies on this site.
Third-party connections
To keep your visit private, we serve the things a page needs to display — fonts and 3D graphics — from our own servers. They are not loaded from Google, a CDN, or any other third party, so simply viewing the site shares nothing with anyone else.
There is one optional exception:
- Live exchange rates — our conversion tools can show an up-to-date reference rate, fetched from
open.er-api.com, a public exchange-rate feed. Fetching it involves your device contacting that service, so we only do it if you accept. If you decline — or before you choose — the tools use an indicative built-in rate instead, and no request is made. Either way, the rate you actually receive is the one shown in your account at the moment you convert.
Before you make a choice, the site makes no third-party requests at all.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Select Cookie settings in the footer of any page to bring the choice back up. Declining does not limit any core feature of the site — it only means the conversion tools use the built-in rate rather than a live one.
